What did we do before the internet?

Looking for an address was hard.

We read a map.

We played paper board games.

We chatted on the street.

We play all day on the street.

We talked to strangers in public places.

We went to parties without knowing everyone there.

We slept more.

What did we do before the Internet? We kept up with friends and family through a simple phone call or a handwritten letter or visiting those in person. We got to know our neighbors who grew our food and helped us build furniture. We purchased local produce, furniture, and gifts that were crafted by actual people.
